Mallory and her family are long time friends of my family; we attended church together for years and sang together on the worship team on Sundays. Mallory is such a sweet and fun loving girl, with outward beauty that rivals her heart of gold. I only met Andrew the day of their wedding rehearsal, but it was easy to see that he was a man deserving of a girl like Mallory. They make such a sweet and genuine couple and it was such a joy to watch them become man and wife.
After a 2016 Disneyland proposal, Mallory and her prince planned their big day for June of 2017. On the most beautiful summer day, they wed at Reynoldsburg United Methodist Church and celebrated at Jefferson Country Club. A few of my favorite things from their big day were the mismatched styles of the Bridesmaids dresses, Mallory's DIY glitter sneakers, the 3 cord cross that Mallory's brother made for their ceremony, their wedding cake made entirely of Krispy Kreme donuts, and the sweetest Father Daughter dance between Mallory and her dad. Everything about their big day was such a dream - I don't think one thing went wrong!
Mallory shared with me that during her 'first moment' with Andrew, while they joined hands around a corner and prayed for their wedding day and their marriage, she asked Andrew if there was anything he'd like to add to her prayer. He simply said, "You got this". What a sweet start to their life together and such a simple gesture to show his Bride that he believed in her and knew she could convey what they both were feeling in that special moment. I so look forward to seeing how they grow as a family unit and where the Lord will take them in their marriage.
After the ceremony, I asked Mallory's sister Natalie if it felt weird to see her sister married. She said that it didn't, that Mallory married to Andrew seemed natural and right. Not only do their personalities compliment each other wonderfully, but they make the most adorable couple.
Thanks to the talented David Beckham Photography, I am excited to share some of the highlights of their big day.
