Julie and Justin | June Wedding at Waters Edge

Julie and Justin tied the knot on June 3rd of this year at Waters Edge Event Center in Hilliard, Ohio. Their wedding was the epitome of sophistication, class, and celebration. Everything and everyone looked flawless, their ceremony was so personal, intimate and sweet, and their reception was a party their guests won't soon forget. Bride Julie's attention to detail and romantic style made their wedding a unique experience for all involved.

Julie and Justin kept things simple, yet classic, with their choice of colors: mint, ivory, and gray, with gold accents. From the centerpieces, to the Bridal Party attire, to the accent pieces, their combination of colors along with bright pops of floral blooms tied everything together with romance and elegance.

Of course, elegance, sophistication, and romance are the perfect descriptions of Julie and Justin's wedding because those words perfectly describe them and their sweet, raw love.

Though the guest count was over 150, Julie and Justin's wedding ceremony was still very intimate and personal. They asked their great friend to officiate, which is one of my favorite things couples are doing now-a-days. He did a terrific job and I (and everyone, I'm sure) loved hearing why he thought Julie and Justin were a perfect match. Their outdoor garden ceremony was relaxed and simple, yet so gorgeous and naturally elegant.

When your ceremony venue is as gorgeous as this garden, usually less is more in terms of decoration. Julie chose to leave the trellis as it was and only decorate the aisle with pedals. Her gorgeous Bridal Party was enough decoration for this perfect ceremony.

As I mentioned in the 'Tips and Tricks to Save Money on Your Wedding' post (which you can read here: http://www.oneweddings.net/blog/2016/4/28/tips-and-tricks-to-save-money-on-your-wedding) any time a friend can lend their talents to your wedding, you will end up saving money and having a wedding unlike any other! Julie's best friend and Maid of Honor is extremely talented at calligraphy, so she hand lettered signs for the wedding. What a sweet gift!

Using one large sign in place of individual programs is a great idea! Programs are one of the more traditional things that couples are usually opting not to do. However, this is a great way to thank your Bridal Party and give them credit for their contribution to your wedding. Speaking of the Bridal Party...

I have to give a shout-out to one of my very favorite wedding vendors. Julie's and the Bridesmaid's bouquets (as well as the boutonnieres and corsages), were all made at The Flowerman. The Flowerman does such incredible work and offers a Do-It-Yourself experience for the hands-on Bride. I had a terrific experience using them for my wedding and Julie did as well!

As the night went on, guests thoroughly enjoyed themselves at the reception. It was so fun to watch Julie and Justin begin to experience life as a married couple. They were naturals at it ;)

Watching them throughout their wedding day, it was just so obvious that they adore one another. And, lots of others adore them, too.

As the night ended and guests were heading to their cars, I heard multiple people say what a great time they had and what a fun wedding this was. I'm sure everyone at this wedding will remember it for years to come. Julie and Justin sure set the bar high for a spectacular wedding.
