Catie and Paul have been two of my best friends for years now and even though I'm most certainly biased, their backyard August wedding was nothing short of perfect. Their big day boasted a wedding party of 24, a guest count of over 400, and all the love in the world. Paul and Catie have such unique and vibrant personalities; there is no one in the world more perfect for her than him or for him than her. Having witnessed their relationship over the years they dated, I can confidently say that their marriage is one full of unconditional, self-sacrificing love. He was most certainly made for her and she for him, and I know Heaven rejoiced this day when they became one flesh.
Like most Brides, Catie knew exactly what her vision was for her wedding, and UNLIKE most Grooms, Paul did too! These two put in more sweat equity to design and create their dream wedding than I've ever seen a couple do before. Hours upon hours and days upon days were spent laboring for their wedding and on the day they could finally see all their hard work pay off, I know it was more than worth it.
They were determined to stay within budget, so they put in the hard work and time and DIY-ed almost everything. From the homemade flower crowns and bouquets, to the hand picked wildflower centerpieces, to the carefully engineered canopy of strung lights over the reception, this couple was physically involved in every single aspect of their wedding.
So, without further ado, and thanks to the incredible talent of Photographer, Reed Klass, I present to you the wedding of the century.
